Fatal Fire in Marion
A structure fire in Marion took the life of a 4 year old boy and hospitalized his mother and sister despite the rescue efforts of MFD. All three victims were removed from the burning house by firefighters and worked on at the scene and transported to Marion General Hospital.

2 New Addititions to Firefighter Families
Congratulations to Bill and Billy on the births of their new family members. I don't have the specifics, but both of them were born last week.

15th Annual MDA Golf Outing
Local #379 MDA Golf Outing will be held on August 20, 2005 at Whetstone Golf Club. It will be a 4 person scramble and Tee Times start at 8:00 am. I will post more info, just letting you know so you can mark your calendars. Be there, its a lot of fun.
